Mead & Cider
Mead is a wine made from honey. Cider is historically made with apples.
Making Mead requires quality honey, yeast, and additional fermentation nutrients for the right fermentation. Cider requires quality apple juice, yeast and nutrients. Traditional meads and ciders can be dry, semi-sweet, or sweet depending on your preference. Ferment honey and apples together and you will create a Cyser. Meads made with Fruit (melomel or berry mead), wine grapes (pyment), spices (metheglin), or even malted barley (braggot). Experiment with ciders by adding the aforementioned ingredients to craft your unique Cider!
