Glycerine U.S.P.

WINE MAKING
Used as a wine making additive to increase body and enhance texture. Glycerine is also known as glycerol and is produced naturally during fermentation. Wines lacking in glycerol will lack body and mouthfeel. Glycerine can also help smooth out harsh elements in younger wines. Be sure to rack off any sediment before an addition of glycerine and mix thoroughly into the wine.
LIQUOR MAKING
Glycerine can also be used in liquor making and is added to liqueurs as a sweetening and thickening agent
