Mix 2 oz. Sodium Metabisulfite with 1 gallon water to make a no rinse Sanitizer for wine making equipment. This solution is also perfect for filling Airlocks to keep away fruit flies.
Not recommended as an ingredient, however it is suitable for killing wild yeast in fresh must prior to adding yeast.
Mix 1/4 teaspoon per 5 gallons of must.
