Mix 2 oz. Potassium Metabisulfite with 1 gallon water to make a no rinse Sanitizer for wine making equipment. This solution is also perfect for filling Airlocks to keep away fruit flies.
Use as an antioxidant and bactericide that releases sulfur dioxide into wine must. When added prior to bottling Potassium Metabisulfite works to decrease the oxidation of wines and increases storage length. Use 1/4 teaspoon per five gallons to add 50 ppm.
